Light Up The Summit

We braved the cold last night and went to The Summit.(Thanks Amanda for telling us about it) It was fun we bundled up and realized I had NO MITTENS for Isabelle...YIKES! Her little hands were so cold. Grandorie had walked over to Old Navy so we called her and she came to the rescue with a hat and mittens that match Izzie's big coat! She needed the hat too it had a velcro strap on it so it stayed on her little head and kept her ears warm and the heat in! We listened to the music and saw Santa, ran into the Higgins family braving the cold as well and watched the fireworks.

We met up with Amanda and her 3 cousins and enjoyed free hot chocolate as we got warm in one of the stores that North East Christian had turned into a warming station! We came home and enjoyed a nice hot bowl of tomato soup I felt like that commercial where the snowman comes in and starts eating soup and the snow melts away and it is a little boy! We enjoyed our Friday night at The Summit!

Glad you had fun! We stayed in where it was warm! I'm a wimp in cold weather!

Looks like lots of fun! Tomato soup sounds yummy on a cold night--especially with grilled cheese!
